_As Team Leader Epitaxy in our Engineering department, you are in the first place a specialist for this technology. You will coach a team of engineers, technicians and its partners in device manufacturing that are responsible for the hardware and process aspects of a number of pilot production machines, mainly prototype systems or early versions.**What you will do**
The Team Leader is responsible for the daily management of a team of ca. 15 people. These are mainly engineers and technicians of imec and its partners in device manufacturing that are responsible for the hardware and process aspects of a number of pilot production machines, mostly prototype systems or early versions.

You motivate and coach your team and you ensure the best training and selection of staff. You draw up the planning of your team, both with regard to the commitment of your team members and the maintenance schedule of the machines. Together with your team you live up to the current objectives and you constantly seek for improvements. You communicate with the research divisions and you ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

**Who you are**
You obtained preferably a Master's degree in Engineering Sciences and have a proven track record for Epitaxy technology in a research or a production environment. Preferably, you combine a maximum of the following skills:

- Experience in maintenance or similar technical activities in a production environment, preferably focused on Epitaxy technology
- Knowledge of high-tech manufacturing processes and / or experience in guiding improvement processes for this technology
- You preferably already led a team and have good leadership and communication skills. This is also expressed in your ability able to delegate work and to motivate and coach a team. You are resilient and your problem-solving skills are very well developed. Finally, you are strong at planning and organizing work, and setting the right priorities is important to you.
