Technical Lead PHP

We are looking for a **Technical Leader** to join our **remote IT team** (headquarters based in Brussels).

**Your mission**

As a Technical Leader, you play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of qualitative reliable software solutions by your team, raising our standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

You collaborate with the Product team, to design, implement, and maintain robust systems that meet our business needs.

**What you will do**
- Coding sprint stories and achieve the minimum threshold of KPIs that are set for the team development velocity and roadmap accuracy
- Mentoring team members, guiding their professional development and ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Planning, together with the PM, the roadmap within the time-frame estimated / agreed
- Ensuring, within own team, the performance and code health of the existing codebase does not degrade
- Ensuring all team members have the right tools and knowledge to perform their tasks
- Maintain a deep and practical technology knowledge to maintain technical leadership Evaluating technical skills during the hiring process

**About you**
- You have a degree in computer science, a related field or an equivalent proven experience
- You have at least 5-10 years of experience in this type of role
- You are a developer at heart with deep knowledge of the PHP culture and ecosystem and a practical experience in leveraging Laravel as a development framework
- You enjoy mentoring and guiding others, and you strive to see them grow their knowledge and skills.
- You feel comfortable working with existing architecture, ensuring its maintenance and being a driving force for new ideas and improvements.
- You are proficient in code versioning control, branching strategies, and CI/CD practices. You are familiar with middleware technologies such as RDBMS and message brokers, among others.
