We are looking for a motivated intern to join our Data Science team
- **Type of internship**: Full-time internship / Unpaid
- ** Location**: Brussels.
- ** Remote policy**: Hybrid remote/work policy: 3 days at the Office (Tuesday/Thursday considered as mandatory days), 2 days of remote work possible.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating automated quality tests to monitor the deprecation and failures of our machine learning algorithms. Our algorithms cover most of the spectrum of Machine Learning - regressions, classifications, NLP, matrix factorizations, etc - but don’t panic, none of this knowledge is expected from you, you will learn some on the fly.
You will work closely with our data science team to develop the test suite and help them improve the overall quality of our software.
You will be directly mentored by an experienced data scientist, while working closely with the full team and reporting weekly to the CTO, CPO and CEO of the company. Your work will ultimately be demoed to the full company at the end of your internship.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and reporting issues to the development team
- Developing automated tests for machine learning algorithms
- Integration of a notifications system for the results of the test
- Communication and collaboration with the data science team
- Good communication skills in English
- Basic knowledge of Python programming
- Willingness to take full ownership of your project, while working close to the team
- Availability for a 3-month internship

- Hands-on experience working with SQL databases and REST APIs

- Guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals in the data science field
- Integration of notification systems through Slack
