Configuration/deployment Manager

**We are hiring a Configuration/Deployment Manager for the European Commission in Brussels and various locations around Europe.**

Main Responsibilities
- Software configuration management.
- Build and continuous integration.
- Establishment maintenance procedures related to deployment of information systems.
- Manage automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Release management and controls.
- Analysis of information systems performances
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule software releases across multiple teams and environments.

**LEVEL OF EDUCATION**

Bachelor's Degree or higher

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
- Excellent Team Player
- Ability to understand, speak and write English. French will be an advantage;

**SPECIFIC EXPERTISE**
- At least 3 years of specific expertise in
- Excellent knowledge of software deployment management.
- At least 3 years of specific expertise in
- Good knowledge of software release management
- At least 5 years of specific expertise in
- knowledge of building and deployment tools (e.g. Ant, Maven).
- At least 5 years of specific expertise in
- Knowledge of CI/CD automation tools (e.g. Gitlab, bamboo, Jenkins).
- At least 5 years of specific expertise in
- Source Code Management & Version Control (e.g. Git)
- At least 3 years of specific expertise in
- At least 2 years of specific expertise in
- Knowledge of RDBMS.
- At least 2 years of specific expertise in
- Knowledge of Linux
- At least 1 year of specific experience in
- Containerization technologies (e.g. Docker)
- At least xx years of specific expertise in
- Knowledge of confluence and Jira
