Electric Mobility Field Deployment Manager

As a Field Deployment Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the field deployment activities of electric mobility projects. Reporting directly to the eMobility Director, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of projects and optimizing operational efficiency. Your expertise in project management, field operations, and stakeholder coordination will contribute to the growth and success of the electric mobility initiatives.
You will lead a dedicated team and work closely with other internal and external stakeholders, to ensure smooth and successful project execution.
As a Field Deployment Manager, you will work within the Electric Mobility team composed of about twenty people and your direct responsibilities will be as follows:
- Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed plans for field deployment of electric mobility projects, considering logístical constraints, required resources, and timelines. Coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.
- Team Management: Lead a field deployment team, including training, performance management, and improvement. Provide ongoing guidance, motivation, and support to the team to achieve set objectives.
- Operations Supervision: Monitor and oversee field deployment operations, including installation of charging infrastructure, preventive and corrective maintenance, replacements, etc. Ensure that all activities are executed in accordance with quality and safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Partnership Management: Collaborate with external vendors, subcontractors, and key partners to ensure seamless project execution. Negotiate and manage contracts, establish strong relationships, and proactively resolve any issues that may arise.
- Reporting and evaluation: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of field deployment operations. Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and improvement recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance field deployment processes and methodologies. Propose innovative solutions to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to manage partnerships and negotiate contracts effectively.

**Background**:
**Knowledge**:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in construction, industrial electricity/electromechanics or equivalent proven experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the RGIE/AREI (low and high voltage), safety standards and relevant regulations.
- Knowledge of structured project management methods (PMI, PM²,...), certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of the electric mobility sector is a plus.
- Good oral and written knowledge of Dutch and French, English is a plus.
**EXPERIENCE**:
- Demonstrated experience in managing large electrical projects or related areas such as renewable energy, charging infrastructure, etc.
- Strong team management skills, with prior experience supervising technical field teams.
