As a Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting and optimizing financial operations, with a focus on financial controlling, accounting, consolidation, and treasury functions.
**Your responsibilities**:
Prepare accurate, timely financial statements (statutory and consolidated) for the Belgian/Group entities, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Lead intercompany reconciliations at Group level.
Take charge of accounts receivable (AR) reporting and follow-up.
Contribute to month-end closing processes.
Monitor cash flow and budget variances, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
Liaise with banks and financial institutions for e.g. KYC processes, timely repayments,.
Collaborate on the implementation of internal controls to protect company assets and reduce risk (e.g., bank authorizations, approvals).
Actively participate in ad-hoc projects as needed
**Your profile**:
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Relevant experience in Big-4 audit, consulting, or the industry.
Strong attention to detail with a passion for numbers and a solid understanding of financial concepts.
IT-savvy, proficient in Excel, SAP knowledge is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in Dutch and English; knowledge of German or French is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving abilities and process-oriented thinking.
Practical, hands-on approach with a down-to-earth attitude.
