**Make your mark for patients**

To strengthen our **QA team**, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of **Global Distribution and Supply Chain Security **Quality Lead based in Braine l’Alleud, Belgium.

**You like to work in an environment where**:
Innovative products and exciting challenges are coming you will be involved in different topics like Supply Chain Security, Serialization and Distribution.

For Supply Chain Security topics:

- You will ensure that the Supply Chain Security Governance is successfully applied,
- You will review and approve the Supply Chain Security Procedure and Specific Associated Instruction,
- You will endorse communications to be addressed to the Competent Authorities related to suspect or illegitimate products in collaboration with the QP / RP / QA in charge and/or the SC Security Quality Representative,
- You will take part to the yearly Supply Chain Security Council as well as review the Supply Chain Security annual report,
- You will decide on escalation to management,
- You will be the direct contact for the Falsified Medicine incidents in Belgium.

For serialization topics:

- You will be in charge of monitoring and overseeing all the serialization activities from a QA standpoint, making sure all continuous improvement initiatives or issues are tracked and efficiently managed,
- You will connect with affiliate QA and global QA functions to communicate and keep them updated on the serialization topics,
- You will maintain knowledge in the serialization regulations to be in a position to positively challenge different stakeholders, you will create, review and/or approve deviations, change controls, complaints, procedures or other serialization-process-related documents, You will take part to audit and inspection support in the frame of serialization,
- You will support from a quality standpoint all the projects related to serialization (process improvements ).

For Distribution topics:

- You will be involved in supply chain projects allowing UCB to strengthen the distribution.

**Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills**:

- You have a minimum 10-12 years operational Quality experience in a GMDP environment
- You have expertise in the pharmaceutical supply chain area (e.g. knowledge of serialization, Falsified Medecine Directive, EU GDP)
- Having interacted directly with regulatory agencies is an asset
- You are fluent in English
- You have prioritization skills and stress management in order to cope up with the various issues that may occur, with a focus on ensuring safe and quick delivery to the patient
- You must have ability to identify risks and propose corrective actions within areas of expertise. Also demonstrate initiative and the ability to help others solve problems in a creative and practical way.
- You have the ability to communicate clearly on the issues with various level of the organization and to adapt to audience (from expert discussions to senior management update).
