TalenCia Consulting is currently looking for a Power BI consultant for a renowned client based in Brussels.

**Start date**: ASAP

**Location**: Brussels

**Homeworking**: 2 days on site per week

**Duration**: 6 months + extensions (renewable)

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience using Power BI (DAX, M)
- Knowledge of Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)

**Description**:

- Challenge any SQL views or scripts that have been implemented.
- Question what the data analysts are doing (e.g., duplicating/adding specific tables) and explain how relationships affect measurements and graphics.
- Question how the measurements are calculated and explain whether there is a simpler/easier method.
- Benefits, limitations, and impact of views in SQL, changes in Power Query, and calculated columns in PBI, plus recommend the best option.
- Best practices for datasets (table/column/measurement nomenclatures, when to utilize PowerQuery, and layout).
- Recommendation regarding the complexity of tables versus datasets.
- Recommendations for internal and external security (row level security, app, embedded PowerBI, etc.)
