**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- Strong knowledge the DBMS technologies (Oracle, MySQL Server and PostgreSQL) and sound experience on at least two;
- Good understanding of MySQL High Availability/Disaster Recovery solutions (MySQL InnoDB Cluster, MySQL InnoDB Replicaset, MySQL InnoDB ClusterSet, MySQL Replication);
- Good understanding of Oracle Analytics with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).

**Duties/role**:

- Monitoring the performance of assigned systems and defining and implementing adequate measures to ensure optimal performance and high availability of DB services;
- Defining DB backup strategies and ensuring a valid and maintained recovery plan is in place;
- Defining and implementing an upgrade strategy to keep the DB environment current.
