Hq Sales Controller

The HQ sales controller is a member of the central controlling team (plant + sales controlling).
Your primary controlling activities will be focused on the Principal and selling entities. Close collaboration with the other HQ industrial/selling controllers and the local finance responsible within Europe will be key.

**Main responsibilities and key tasks**:
**Coordinate monthly group POC (= Percentage of Completion) project reporting**:

- Validate monthly extractions for project valuation;
- Perform sanity checks on project data and pro-actively correct / liaise with business partners throughout the Company;
- Distribute and support the valuation to be performed in local Sales entities;
- Consolidate and interpret POC valuation;
- Improve and further automate tools (functional business partner;
**Coordinate group monthly forecasting/backlog process**:

- Validate monthly extractions for project forecasting (CCM + POC);
- Perform sanity checks on forecast data;
- Distribute and support the forecasting to be performed in local Sales entities;
- Consolidate and interpret forecasting/backlog valuation;
- Improve and further automate tools (functional business partner);
- **Analyze monthly local and group results**:

- Identify drivers for topline and margin losses versus budget / rolling forecast;
- Ability to deep dive into individual POC + CCM projects;
- Link purchasing / production impacts with projects and entities;
- Further develop inhouse controlling tools ( BI, Power query,);
**Support commercial costing process**:

- Understand the basis of the industrial costing;
- Ability to compare planned with actual costing and interpret variances on;
- Internal production and local costs (assembly, transport, local purchases);
- Use project insights to identify commercial offering changes;
- Ad hoc analysis on request of management.

**Job requirements**:

- Master (financial or related) or similar through experience;
- IT minded (BI tools, Power query, advanced Excel solutions, );
- **Knowledge of English and Dutch is mandatory.**:

- Strong analytical skills;
- Can work independently as well as in team;
- Prepared to support on-site on occasion;
- Relevant experience;
