**YOUR TASKS**
- At least 70% of your assignment will be spent on academic research
- You will contribute to teaching activities at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level. You will be the responsible lecturer for one of the statistical-methodological courses in the Master program on Movement and Sports Sciences. These courses are thought in Dutch.
- You will supervise Master’s students in the context of their Master’s dissertation and research internships
- You will supervise PhD students within the ongoing research lines of the research group Physical Activity and Health.
- You will actively contribute to writing research project proposals within the research line focused on personalizing (digital) interventions to promote physical activity.
- You will actively participate in the revision of the courses on research methodology and statistics, as part of the planned educational reform of the Master program in Movement and Sports Sciences.
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- You hold a doctoral degree in (preferably) Health Sciences. The degree requirement needs to be fulfilled at the start of your appointment. For diplomas awarded outside the European Union, a certificate of equivalence (NARIC) must be submitted
- You have already conducted research within the field of Physical Activity and Health, preferably in the research domain focusing on health promotion through digital support.
- You have distinguished yourself as a promising researcher during your PhD trajectory.
- You are profoundly interested in coaching students in the Bachelor’s, Master’s and/or Advanced Master’s programmes
- You have relevant scientific publications in (inter)national peer-reviewed academic journals that are widely disseminated
**WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU**
- Even if you have already been appointed earlier (whether or not at another university and whether or not in the same field of discipline) in a first term of up to three years, you can apply
- The second appointment does not have to be immediately connected to a first term Your appointment will start on 1 December 2025 at the earliest
