Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid - onsite 3 days/week) Engagement: Full-time (100%) Languages: Dutch, French, English - Professional Proficiency Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for financial, HR, and regulatory needs. Build and optimize ETL pipelines across multi-source data systems (SAP ECC6, SAP IS-U, legacy databases, etc.). Develop and manage Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse environments. Integrate SAP ECC/S4HANA data using table connectors and APIs. Automate data refresh and alerting systems in Power BI / Microsoft Fabric. Manage data modeling and multidimensional structures for performance. Monitor and maintain the Power BI environment (user access, datasets, refresh schedules). Ensure data quality, security, and compliance (GDPR, ISO27001, NIS2). Collaborate with business users, analysts, and IT teams to define KPIs and visual standards. Document architecture, workflows, and operational processes. Required Skills & Expertise Must Have Proven experience as a Technical BI / Power BI Consultant in large organizations. Expertise in Microsoft Power BI / Fabric - dashboarding, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure ecosystem: Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake Azure Data Warehouse (Synapse or equivalent) Strong SQL skills (partitioning, performance optimization). Integration experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP IS-U. Experience handling ETL processes and heterogeneous data sources. Proven ability to design and maintain multidimensional data models. Fluent in Dutch, French, and English. Availability for 3 onsite days per week in Brussels (non-consecutive). Nice to Have Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals. Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals Certification. Experience in utilities or energy sectors. Familiarity with alerting systems and regulatory dashboards (CSRD, Brugel). Soft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder coordination. Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving. Detail-oriented and compliance-aware. Team player with self-management capability. Quality-driven and proactive in proposing optimizations.
