**Reason for the role**:

- To lead the growth of our Business Intelligence Team to better support and partner with the Sales, Finance and Marketing Teams.**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Responsible to grow and evolve our intelligence team in order to support our internal customers with their known and unknown data/reporting requests.
- Coaching, coordinating & growing our international team of data analysts in their quest to provide the correct analysis for our (internal) customers while making sure that the focus is put on the right projects.
- Project manager for all BI related projects to make sure that they fit in the overall strategy of the company and that they can be completed within time, scope & budget.
- Responsible together with our IS team regarding the tools to support this team. Our current setup consists of Looker as BI tool running on a Google BigQuery database.
- SPOC for everything around data intelligence and are able to challenge the business (Finance, marketing, sales,...)
- You're able to help the team on a technical & practical level when necessary.

**Job Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in the Business Intelligence/Advanced Analytics field
- Experience in a management position in a data environment
- Resilience - you are not afraid of being in the trenches with your teammates in order to help them when needed or when a project needs finishing.
- Practical knowledge on a BI tool (Looker, Tableau, Qlick(sense), Business Objects,.) is required
- Practical knowledge on databases and SQL language is required.
- You are conceptual and are able to look beyond the technical matters;
- Commercial acumen and can communicate well with different stakeholders
