Head of Risk Functieomschrijving Als head of risk ben je verantwoordelijk voor: - Strategisch advies: adviseren van directie en Raad van Bestuur bij belangrijke beslissingen vanuit een risicoperspectief, inclusief risicobereidheid en compliance. - Tweede lijn risicobeheer: ontwikkelen, leiden en versterken van de risicofunctie voor zowel financiële risico's als niet-financiële risico's. - Analyse & modellen: opzetten en onderhouden van risicomodellen, stress-scenario's en rapportages om risico's te identificeren, te monitoren en te mitigeren. - Toetsende rol: kritisch beoordelen van eerstelijns risicobeheer, evalueren van maatregelen en aanbevelen van verbeteracties, in nauwe samenwerking met interne en externe stakeholders. - Cultuur & compliance: bevorderen van risicobewustzijn binnen de organisatie, waken over naleving van wet- en regelgeving, onderhouden van contacten met toezichthouders/auditors, en bijdragen aan de lange-termijnstrategie door risico's te vertalen naar kansen. Profiel - Achtergrond & ervaring: masterdiploma in economie, finance, wiskunde of risicomanagement, met minimaal 8 jaar ervaring in risk management (bij voorkeur in de bancaire sector). - Inhoudelijke expertise: diepgaande kennis van kredietrisico, ALM, regelgeving, stress-testing en provisioning (IFRS 9 of equivalent), met ervaring in het opbouwen of versterken van een tweedelijns risicofunctie. - Analytisch & communicatief sterk: vermogen om complexe risico's te vertalen naar heldere adviezen, senior management kritisch te challengen en vlot te schakelen met diverse stakeholders. - Leiderschap & extra skills: bewezen ervaring in het aansturen van teams Aanbod Een voltijds contract van onbepaalde duur met een volledig en competitief salarispakket Mogelijkheden tot persoonlijke groei en ontwikkeling Een rol met impact, beslissingsbevoegdheid en zichtbaarheid binnen het senior management.
