We are actively looking for an Accountant for one of our clients active in the pharmaceutical industry and located in Brussels East.
This structure is present in all corners of the globe and counts over 25.000 collaborators. The Benelux entity, composed of 150 employees, has more of a friendly and family atmosphere. Everyone knows each other and the structure care about its collaborators deeply.
Because of its rapid growth and the acquisition of a large American company a few years ago, our client is developing new entities for each country and needs to strengthen its accounting teams.
As an Accountant, you will join a team of 4 people and you will report directly to the Accounting Manager. This person has joined the company 5 years ago and has quickly created a certain harmony with his team. His known for being a communicative, understanding and helpful manager with a teacher approach. He’s today willing to welcome a new team member whom he can support and develop in terms of autonomy and responsibilities.
**Accountant - Function**:
- Booking of sales/purchases/banks
- Management of all invoicing and payment processes
- Following-up the payment process and setting up reminders
- Acting as the main point of contact for any questions related to payments and invoicing
- Controlling over certain accounts
- Preparing VAT declarations as well as the annual VAT listing
**Accountant - Profile**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- You have at least a first experience in Accounting
- You speak French and have a good knowledge of Dutch (or vice vera). You are also able to use English in a professional context
- You are communicative and sociable and you enjoy working with a team
- Precise and qualitative, you deliver your work on time
