For many years, climate change has made it clear that we must engage into gradually phasing out fossil fuels. All organizations, especially those in Europe, need an urgent energy revolution given the current geopolitical climate. At TES, we believe that this is an unprecedented moment to tackle both energy security and climate neutrality. Our goal is to open the door to a new, scalable energy system, entirely built on existing technology, that will operate for decades and provide access to an abundant and cost-effective supply of clean energy.

Our novel process relies on current, tried-and-true technologies while importing substantial amounts of reasonably priced renewable energy. We will transform sun and wind into sustainable and cost-effective eNG (electric natural gas), combining green H2 and circular CO2 and using existing infrastructure to deliver green, secure energy.

We are creating the world’s largest green energy value chain.

To deliver on its ambitions TES is currently building a world class top management team. In parallel the organization is growing from 120+ employees today to several hundred by the end of next year.

**What you will do**:
Are you a meticulous number-cruncher with an eye for detail and a passion for accounting? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Accountant. We are on the lookout for a professional who will take charge of the accounting responsibilities for our Belgian Entity and help drive our financial success. As Senior Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with both BE GAAP and IFRS, and contributing to our growth through strategic financial decision-making.

**As Senior Accountant, you will**:

- Take full responsibility for managing the accounting activities of the Belgian Entity, ensuring all financial records are up to date and accurate.
- Diligently monitor the operational aspects of all other entities, ensuring a comprehensive overview that guarantees accuracy.
- Assume ownership of the group's Chart of Accounts and ensure compliance with IFRS standards.
- Contribute to the digitalization of accounting processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting and tax filings for all entities.

Brussels office and home office

**Who you are**:

- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accountancy or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field of accountancy.
- Profound knowledge and understanding of both BE GAAP and IFRS.
- Familiarity with consolidation processes is a plus.
- Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining accurate and error-free financial records.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage various accounting tasks efficiently.
- A proactive approach and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
