Job Description
- Location : both Tubize and Herstal sites
- Strengthen quality involvement in supplier selection phases
- Reduce non-quality issues with suppliers
- Ensure better control of supplier risks
- Establish Product Design Authority and Purchasing, the technical specifications and quality requirements for procurement addressed to suppliers
- Conduct supplier audits
- Deploy EGAPE requirements to identified suppliers
- Ensure supplier validation and qualification
- Participate in the upstream supplier selection process
- Maintain a summary of risks for major product suppliers, shared with Purchasing
- Lead actions to improve supplier maturity through action plans
- Lead internal improvement actions to enhance collaboration with suppliers
- Conduct targeted improvement initiatives in support of the Supplier Performance Manager (SPM)
- Work closely with the SPM to analyze performance data and deploy actions toward suppliers
- Measure and reduce supplier non-quality costs
- Identify supplier issues, address them, and communicate actions taken
- Actively participate in analyzing customer complaints resulting from supplier issues
- Perform root cause analyses and follow up on corrective actions with suppliers
- Your Profile
- Engineering degree, mechanical orientation
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial supplier quality roles
- Fluent in French and English
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong ability to write technical documents
- Willingness to travel within Belgium and abroad as part of the role (50% of the time)
