The Paying Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing our procurement processes through the strategic use of technology. This individual is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the solutions supporting the Paying processes, such as SAP FI-AP, SAP Ariba Commerce Automation, Readsoft. It is also a key player in the shaping of Syensqo’s future IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and decide on change requests for our IT procurement systems, ensuring they align with our IT strategy, business goals, and budget constraints. Secure the proper implementation of approved changes.
- Partner with the procurement team to understand their needs, define system requirements, and deploy IT solutions that enhance their processes. Lead projects from conceptualization to execution.
- Provide expertise and guidance to the ERP Rebuild project, ensuring that the systems delivered meet both functional and non-functional requirements, and are seamlessly integrated into procurement’s daily operations.
- Ensure all activities adhere to Syensqo IT policies and standards, with emphasis on Cybersecurity compliance and exhaustive documentation.

**_Education and experience_**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement jobs; experience in the procurement function will also be considered.
- Demonstrable experience supporting SAP FI-AP is essential. Knowledge of SAP Ariba Commerce Automation and Invoice Processing tools (ie Readsoft) is desirable; experience in S4 Hana is a plus.
- Experience in leading IT projects.
