**Job description**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physico-Chemical Method Development Scientist to support the feasibility, fit-for-purpose, and business cases of new physico-chemical methods, specifically Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS-QDa), aimed at replacing current in-vivo potency assessment for DTaP vaccines. You will play a crucial role in developing, designing, performing, and analyzing innovative physico-chemical methods to advance vaccine development and quality control.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop, design, perform, and analyze new physico-chemical methods using LC-MS-QDa as the primary skill.
- Manage feasibility and fit-for-purpose studies, including project management, reporting, and communication with different stakeholders.
- Take charge of lab work, including training, stock management, data integrity, and ensuring compliance with GMP standards.
- Write protocols, reports, and effectively communicate the results to relevant stakeholders.
- Demonstrate project management skills by mapping stakeholders, planning activities, and ensuring timely execution.
**Profile**
- Master's, Engineer's, or Ph.D. degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or Immunology.
- Good knowledge of analytical methods.
- Broad and thorough knowledge of LC-MS methods, including development, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using software such as Empower and Excel for data analysis, graphing, and basic statistics.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Well-organized, open-minded, and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- An open, proactive personality to collaborate with a team of young international researchers.
- Flexibility, tenacity, curiosity, and a strong logical approach to problem-solving.
- Enthusiastic and positive approach, with an open mind for local and global issues.
- Fluent in English and French.
