Position: Information Security Technical Expert (IS Security Technical Expert)
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Work Mode: Hybrid (2 to 3 days per week on-site)
Required Languages: Dutch + English (advanced level)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT and in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, with expertise in one of the following domains:
- Systems and Networks
- Active Directory (AD)
- System Hardening
- Vulnerability Management
- XDR (Extended Detection and Response)
- Proxy
- Cloud Computing
- Experience in optimizing existing security processes, defining technical improvements and best practices.
Additional Desired Knowledge:
- Ability to analyze, recommend, and validate implementation choices.
- Mastery of the fundamentals of IT systems security.
- Knowledge of security technologies and associated tools.
- Participation in the development of technical security standards and technical documentation.
- Contribution to the effective configuration of security solutions.
- Identifying problems or obstacles in existing processes and promoting applicable solutions to ensure the smooth operation of cybersecurity processes.
