To ensure continuous growth, Syngenia is looking for a Senior Program/Project Planner

We are seeking an experienced program/project planner to implement and manage complex program/project schedules.
**Mission**

As a Senior Planner, you will report to program/project managers:

- Program/Project planner responsibilities:

- Be involved in multiple multidisciplinary projects, within a PMO structure organization.
- Responsible for the schedule to ensure completion of projects to time and cost - Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective scheduling management system.
- Lead the development of baseline schedules,
- Consult with project managers and technical experts to set up assignments, tasks, and subtasks. Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineers to define WBS. Obtain detail time schedules and WBS of contractors and integrate their time schedules in the baseline schedule.
- Documenting project scheduling processes and maintaining records.
- Accommodating updates and changes to project schedules.
- Monitoring the execution of project timelines and deadlines. Monitor and analyze project effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative tools.
- Identifying potential project schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timely manner.
- Recommending actions to keep projects within budget, and completed on time.
- Coordinating project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Prepare project progress and performance evaluation reports.
- Ensure that the planning data that inputs into the required reports to allow Senior Managers to direct the project appropriately, is accurate, validated by the Project Manager and up to date as required.
- Keeping stakeholders informed of project timelines and deadlines.

Profile
- Certification as a PMI professional or equivalent will be advantageous;
- To ensure success, program/project planner must possess solid industry knowledge and demonstrable experience in program/project planning;
- Experience as a program/project planner in process industry;
- Extensive experience in planning and scheduling management;
- Able to accurately define program and project schedules ;
- Ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions;
- Proficiency with Office IT tools;
- Proficiency in project planning and scheduling software, such as Primavera and/or Microsoft Project;
- A detailed understanding of infrastructure projects how they are prepared, designed, contracted, constructed and commissioned;
- Familiar with commercial and financial aspects of project management and contracting;
- Be able to work under own initiative and as part of a team;
- Ability to keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and changes;
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills;
- Experience of managing and influencing interfaces with engineering discipline.
