**The opportunity**
We are looking to hire an E-commerce Business Development Manager in the Benelux.
Within the E-com team of Worldline Benelux you are responsible for generating business with key e-com customers, both merchants and strategic partners. As Business Development Manager your goal is to sign new customers and partners, and position the Worldline e-com portfolio. Key elements to be successful in this role are perseverance, thoroughness and excellent communication skills. You contact your prospects, convince them of the added value of Worldline products and convert proposals to signed deals. Target prospects are leading merchants and partners in ecommerce who are active in various industries.
In this role, you’ll report directly to the Head of ecommerce for the Benelux and need a strong connection and collaboration with the different teams within Worldline.
**About the team**
You will be part of the e-commerce team within the Worldline Benelux key account department. The e-com team consists of 4 people who work in collaboration with each other and with the rest of the Benelux team to ensure strong growth in e-commerce. Next to sales the Benelux team consist of Pre-sales people who support you and the merchants with technical integrations as well on market innovations. In Worldline, we are minded with a FinTech atmosphere. You will experience this in your everyday life as a Worldliner.
**Your day-to-day responsibilities include**
- You generate activities to attract new customers and key strategic partners
- You position and sell Worldline e-com solutions to your list of prospects
- You are able to prioritize and focus on the most important sales opportunities
- You define your priorities, define your tactics and follow up according to your plan
- You handle your own pipeline with sales opportunities and report on it weekly
**Signs of success**
As a successful Business Development Manager, you support and accelerate our company's revenue growth by doing what you do best: searching for opportunities and closing deals that aligns with our commercial objectives. Through collaboration with other departments in the business, you will build our reputation as a trusted partner and inspiring leader in the online payment space.
- You are capable of convincing Merchants during your interactions
- You are / will be the e-commerce and payment expert at the table and you have strong negotiation skills
- You assure clear, concise and passionate communication to persuade and influence merchants. You have a strong consistent track record in this field
- You have or are eager to acquire knowledge of Worldline solution portfolio
- You use strengths and weaknesses of competitors to improve own success.
- You are able to translate merchant requirements towards existing Worldline solutions and translate this into executable action plans

- You are proficient in English, Dutch and/or French
