John Cockerill SA - Context of Need John Cockerill has been acting as global OEM in the energy sector for several decades, delivering heat recovery steam generators, industrial boilers and solar receivers for concentrated solar power plant. In order to support the acceleration of its developments in renewable energy solutions, John Cockerill has grouped all these activities under a specific entity "John Cockerill Renewables", with its specific and dedicated organization. It has four activities: solar et thermal storage, hydrogen, Integrated Renewables Solutions and EPC. The hydrogen activities are organized under a subsidiary called "John Cockerill Hydrogen". This entity takes advantage of: - Its current position as the worldwide leader in the manufacturing of electrolysers with more than 25 years of experience - Complete range of integrated solutions for hydrogen production and refuelling stations - Manufacturing capacities in Asia and Europe - Integrated test laboratory for key components of electrolysers In order to sustain its leadership position in this fast-moving market, John Cockerill requires its Hydrogen management teams to be constantly up to date on recent market developments (e.g. new government policies, competitor moves). Nature et Scope Working in close cooperation with the management teams in Europe and China, the Hydrogen Strategic Analyst will be responsible to gather and share strategic market information and analysis, and to support the internal John Cockerill strategic dialogue on hydrogen. Main duties **Business Intelligence**: To provide constant and accurate market information et analysis - Monitor, research, analyses broad market information and constitute relevant data bases - Identify market trends, risks, customer intentions, products, behavior of competitors, etc. Establish periodic reports and statistics - Participation to key industry events and represent the company **Strategy planning**: To support the development of John Cockerill's Hydrogen strategy - Support the analysis of the strategic topics in interaction with the business, make recommendations - Challenge the business priorities **Strategic Business Development initiatives**: Support specific business development initiatives, in cooperation with the relevant functions of the Group - Strategic partnerships and MetA initiatives - Growth opportunities, new business models Business degree 3-5 years professional experience in strategy, business development or finance roles, in international industrial activities Competencies in financial modeling is a plus Highly analytical, excellent interpersonal skills, business acumen, autonomous and driven Fluency in English and French
