Daily Asset Manager

Within the Installations & Grid Division, Asset & Maintenance Management is responsible for the maintenance programme, devising work methods, and monitoring and improving the reliability and availability of our facilities through technical analyses and innovative solutions.

Our Asset & Maintenance Management Department in Anderlecht is looking for a **Daily Asset Manager** (M/F/x).

**Job purpose**

You will join the Asset Management Team, which supports the regional zones and compressor stations regarding the management and maintenance of the gas network and facilities.

As a manager, you will guide a small team of experts, set clear goals, supervise the performance of tasks on time and to a high standard, make any necessary changes and manage the team budget.

Together with your team, you will serve as expert with regard to the daily management and maintenance of the facilities. You will acquire the necessary skills, and will advise and support the regional zones and compressor stations.

**Your responsibilities**

Together with your team, you will take on the following tasks and be responsible for their proper implementation:

- Coordinating measurement campaigns and reporting of all emissions, combined with the rollout of initiatives to reduce emissions. This includes design optimisation, repair campaigns, recompression and the use of mobile flares.
- Preparing, monitoring and updating maintenance plans for facilities and infrastructure
- Managing maintenance contracts in collaboration with the Procurement Department
- Managing and updating emergency plans, including the organisation of periodic drills
- Devising annual training plans, monitoring implementation, and organising specific training sessions and developing the associated content
- Managing procedures and instructions, making sure to review and update them regularly
- Managing the budget, planning and performance of painting work, inspections of special passages, the maintenance of green spaces and weed control
- Serving as central point of contact for work planners, team leaders and maintenance coordinators. Consultations are also organised on a regular basis to foster cooperation.

**About you**
- A master's degree in civil or industrial engineering or equivalent experience
- Between three and ten years' experience in a similar role in the industrial sector
- A passion for technology and the energy transition
- An interest in new technologies and the ability to analyse large volumes of data
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently handle several topics simultaneously, from research to final implementation
- Team spirit
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and guide others
- The ability to maintain good relations with internal teams and suppliers
- Extensive knowledge of French or Dutch, with a good command of the other national language and of English

This position also requires the following:

- A category B driving licence and a willingness to travel regularly throughout Belgium
