The IT Quality Manager has the responsibility to define, promote and implement the compnay Project Testing Model, manages a team of IS professionals in charge of the End-to-End testing and leads Business Acceptance team for major releases and smaller projects implemented by the IT department.

Responsibility

Accountable for the IT end to end testing of major releases / projects and to provide Input for the acceptance of the projects (GO/NoGo)
Pilots, evaluates, motivates, and coaches the Test Factory (in Moldova). Develops competencies of internal resources involved in testing (BAT) so as to be able to meet his/her internal customer strategic needs.
Acts under Domain Manager to implement the new IT vision and transform the testing competence (Structure, releases, environments, test services)
Leads, coordinates and steers execution of Business Acceptance Testing
Develops a thorough understanding of the domain of his internal customers (Competence centers) in order to adopt the more efficient testing strategy; Ensures the continuous quality improvement via the analysis/measures of success /failures and corresponding action plans.
Defines, formalises, keeps up-to-date the Test methodology to be used, based on best practices & Industry standards. Promote and support the methodology in all IT Competence Centers.

Daily interaction with Partner (OMD), suppliers of Testing services & suppliers of IT solutions for the testing of their solutions.

People management

**Indirect reports**: 10 to 15 (Extended team in Moldova)
IS professionals with a expertise in Testing area and a technical expertise in one or more specific areas (biilling, provisioning, automation, performance...). Indirect reports are mainly OMD Test Managers, OMD Tests engineers.
IT Application development projects as part of the Business As usual Portfolio.

Specific expertise

In depth knowledge of methodology and best practices specifically in testing area and more generally in software development life cycle.
In depth knowledge of IS technologies, systems, and evolutions
In depth knowledge of Test Automation (Strategic, Technical and operational)

Education, specific training and experience

University or equivalent through experience
At least 10 years of experience in an IT environment in a large company
At least 7 years in testing (as tester, analyst or manager)
At least 2 to 3 years of test management experience
Very good planning applied to testing & organization skills
Technically sound in Complex IT systems
At least 5 years of experience in Telco industry (in testing or development)
At least 5 years of experience in test automation
Conceptual skills
Acts as a driver to achieve the objectives for his internal customer,
Can analyse risks and anticipate in time
Polyvalent profile that can work on all testing cycles, across every IT domains

Interpersonal skills

Ability to lead a team (ability to drive a team towards the achievement of objectives)
Ability to motivate a team (give recognition, delegate, adapt leadership's style)
Excellent communication skills
Excellent understanding of Telco BSS and OSS
Fast worker who can work under pressure
Persuasiveness
Developed negotiation skills
Excellent presentation skills

**English**: fluent, French or Dutch knowledge is a plus
