Our employees are the beating heart of our growing leisure & lifestyle venue named Terra Solis.
To continue our growth in Dubai, we are expanding our team with an experienced event director who can deliver successful large-scale events. If you have experience in managing large-scale events with a proven-track record in show production, keep reading.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You will report to the General Manager of Terra Solis. Together you ensure that Terra Solis is a reference in events in Dubai and the standards of Tomorrowland are upheld.
- You take the lead in all B2C & B2B events on all aspects of an events(production, operations, finance, f&b, ).
- You are responsible for discussing ideas, solutions and plans with all stakeholders (TS management, investors, Tomorrowland) and play a pivotable figure between all of those whilst still having your own strong ideas.
- During events your function as the SPOC for all events and have/are not afraid of having last-call regarding operational matters.
- After the event you ensure a precise and swift closing of all financials and distribute the result to all stakeholders.
- You posses a creative mind and take an active role in expanding the event catalogue in Terra Solis including with external promoters and agencies.
**MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS**
- You have experience with mid
- and/or large-scale event productions(+5000 pax).
- With these productions you have managed the creative production process in at least 2 disciplines (AV, scenic, pyro, site production, ).
- Additional experience in promotion, operations and marketing an asset but not a must.
- You have (or experience in gathering) a strong and trusted supplier network in Dubai and/or GCC region.
- You have a strong eye for detail and qualitive delivery in your DNA.
- Open and pro-active communication in your second language and you are not scared of communicating open & factual within a complex stakeholder environment(TS management, Tomorrowland & investors).
- Thorough P&L-management and being challenged by management, finance colleagues and all stakeholders does not scare you off.
- You are problem-solution-minded and always create win-win opportunities for all parties.
- Status quo is not an option, you never assume.
- You are stress-resistant, have a no-nonsense attitude and roll up your sleeves.
- You are fluent in English.
- Hotel experience is an asset but not a must.
