Who are we?

Proximus Media House - PMH - is the affiliate in the Proximus group that holds creativity, technology, know-how and top tier solutions for content editing, (live) production, broadcasting and media asset management. Content is rendered available anywhere, anytime, on any platform. PMH offers a 360° approach to content products through creation, production, purchase, and exploitation. PMH operates on behalf of Proximus Group as well as external clients on the Belgian market. Pickx+, Pickx+ Sports and Pickx Live are entirely PMH driven.

Who are we looking for?

In the agile framework deployed at PMH, we use a dual model with Chapters and Tribes splitting responsibilities to bring our company to the next level.

As Chapter Owner, you are in a senior position, acting as a team leader and expert in your specialty.

You are responsible for managing & developing the chapter members under your domain, ensuring their performance and development in their specialty.

As Chapter Owner, you also participate yourself operationally in delivering tangible added value.

You support tribes and organizational leadership in decision-making and results monitoring, through a tactical vision from the perspective of your expertise and domain against the company’s strategy.

Main responsibilities:
1. Guide people and develop talents:

- Responsible for overall career direction and capability building track.
- Develop and evaluate chapter members performance, based on 360° feedback view.
- Support and monitor chapter members’ development plans & objectives.
- Execute tasks related to people management activities (hiring, exit, development,).
- Follow-up on budget investment especially in terms of workforce related costs.

2. Bring tactical vision & support for Tribe Leaders and Chapter Area Lead (direct manager):

- Provide a strong vision of your expertise to the PMH leadership committee, including market perspectives for decision-making on your field of expertise.
- Support the PMH leadership in prioritizing initiatives, analyzing results and action plans.
- Work with tribe leaders to remove impediments and identify risks and opportunities.
- Act as reference in your specialty, supporting resolution of highly complex problems.
- Act as squad member by being assigned to a squad and participate with a minimum of 50% of time to squad deliveries and endeavors.
- Set up interaction and knowledge sharing processes within the chapter and in alignment with the chapter area and other colleague Chapters.
- Provide back-up and support business continuity in case of chapter member default or absence. The Infra & Network Engineering Chapter Owner enables the successful delivery of PMH ambitions as a Broadcast & Media company: live and non-live production and broadcast, linear edition and distribution, broadcast and streaming, on demand media services edition and distribution, etc.

Required qualifications and profile:

- Your ethics are high, you embody transparency and honesty, speak the truth and always place your company’s interests before your own.
- Strong communication skills. Skilled and comfortable in giving and receiving feedback.
- Proven skills in coaching chapter leads and members in the areas of performance, standards, change and work methods.
- Ability to create an atmosphere of trust and a comfortable/efficient work environment. Proven ability to resolve conflicts.
- Proven ability to guide, motivate and inspire members.
- Critical thinking, ability to find better ways of solving problems and designing solutions.
- Experience of at least 5 years in the broadcast & media domain, where you are widely recognized as an expert. Strong knowledge of media production and distribution, with practical experience in technological and material enabling and support.
- Proficient in at least two of the following languages: NL/EN/FR.
- Experience in developing and implementing methods and standards.
- Experience with Agile.
- Experienced people manager.
