**Job Purpose**:
- The Credit controller will reports into the Senior controller for Europe based in Belgium and closely collaborates with the International and Luxembourg Finance and Operations teams.
You will participate to Belgium and the Netherlands credit control activities. You will also Delivers relevant reports necessary as part of the month and quarter end close and ensure timely completion of related tasks and Ensures adherence to all Corporate policies and procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Accounting and Finance
- Participate to Belgium and Netherlands credit control activities
- Ensure timely processing and allocation of cash
- Prepare Ledgers & Debt Chasing reports: Analysis, identification, investigation, discrepancies solving and follow up with Underwriters, Underwriter Assistants and brokers
- Prepare the broker statements, co-insurance and re-insurance reports and perform the corresponding related tasks including but not resuming to dealing with any queries from Brokers/Co-insurers/Re-insurers; monitoring premium payment due dates and advise Underwriter of non-payment wherever possible
- Adhere to the Corporate policies and procedures
- Participate at the monthly and quarterly close by preparing the relevant reports
Compliance & Audit
- Provide support during the statutory audit (if needed)
Treasury and cash Management
- Perform any manual payments of claims or other related items
- Provide support to maintain and update authorized signatory information
**S**kills and Experience Specification**:
**Required Skills**:
- Accounting knowledge
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar position
- Experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Fluent in English and French
- Good communication skills
