**Odoo**:
Because we are looking for a designer who is willing to jump into the Odoo ecosystem we wanted to give a small summary of why we think Odoo is such an exciting opportunity.

Because e-commerce is such a broad endeavour we really believe that Odoo has a place within the e-commerce environment. Next to that Odoo is very new to the website/e-commerce space and has the goal to compete with Shopify within the next couple of years. It’s like being part of the Shopify ecosystem 5 years ago. In other words a hugely vibrant, challenging and interesting environment. How can this not be exciting?

Together with you, we will claim the Odoo e-commerce space in Belgium (and Europe) and thus are looking for very ambitious designers who are looking to push the boundaries.

Job description

As a UX/UI designer you are responsible for leading our design workshops/sprints, creating wireframes and full fledged designs. You’ll be in direct contact with the client to determine what will drive conversion, brand alignment and engaged customers.

You are interested in expanding your expertise on how features are implemented and how custom themes can be built in Odoo. You should be very communicative and be able to talk to a range of different people, CEO’s, project managers, developers, marketeers, and the like. All the while not losing track of the business side of things. You should be able to bring structure when other people are losing oversight.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage expectations with the client
- Create detailed wireframes and clickable, dynamic designs
- Understand the developer’s issues, timelines, ways of working
- Take ultimate responsibility for delivering designs on time both internally and externally
- Upsell features that you think are helpful to the client
- Understand the client’s business so you can bring added value
- Continuously improve design, development, launch, post launch workflows

**About you**:

- You have experience in UX/UI design for e-commerce
- Eager to learn about a new platform
- Are always interested in improving our internal workflows, mapping them out (in Miro) and help the team understand and follow the workflows.
- Very strong organizational, communicative and time management skills
- Doesn’t shy away from telling clients how things work and are in a structured and logical way
- Passion for e-commerce and efficiency
- Quick and autonomous learner
- Experience working within a variety of agile development teams and processes
- Fluent in Dutch, English is a must
