**Working in the Finance-team**
As Senior Business Controller, you will be responsible for the reporting & financial support of Infrastructure & Operations (Infra & Ops), a subdomain within the Product & Technology Circle. You will perform analysis and create insights to support the business in their day-to-day operations and decision making.
**Concretely, this translates into the following tasks**:
- Managing 0.5 FTE who will support you
- Preparing and presenting the monthly reporting (explaining variances versus budget/forecast, following up on key KPIs, operational analysis, etc.) for:
- Finance as input for the closing meeting with all controllers and FP&A team
- The business to be able to advise the budget owners around the efficiency of his/her activities and processes as well as around cash flow optimization
- Responsible for all operational activities, coordination & follow up on the month-end closing for your assigned sub-department, working closely with the financial controllers
- Preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budget, 3-year plan in close cooperation with the business
- Sparringpartner & point of contact for your subdomain
- Oversee compliance with (financial) procedures regarding purchasing, ordering, opex/capex split,... in part by approving POs/invoices
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheet models for specific analyses, closing activities,...
- Review business cases for investment requests in your assigned sub-department
- Ad hoc assist and/or lead specific projects within your subdomain

**Your profile**
- You've always wanted to know what the heart of Telenet looks like and you have an affinity for Technology
- You have min. 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a controller position or audit role
- You can work independently and are hands-on
- You are accurate with numbers; you have good synthetic and analytical skills
- You are a team player
- You are discreet, flexible and feel at home in a rapidly changing business environment, but don't shy away from more routine tasks either
- You have a strong knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint and affinity with financial systems (accounting, reporting)
- You have knowledge of Dutch and English
