**Mission Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Data Functional Analyst, you will work as a consultant for Keystone Solutions, regularly interfacing with business stakeholders to discern their needs. Your responsibilities include:

- Identifying, assessing, and understanding business processes and data flows. Translating business needs into data and technical requirements. Designing data architecture and models in collaboration with Data Architects. Establishing functional designs in collaboration with the Data Governance team, BI Technical Leads, and ICT teams. Ensuring alignment with GDPR and security requirements by liaising with the Data Protection Officer (DPO). Actively participating in testing and validating data products. Delivering comprehensive documents including Business Requirements Document, Functional Analysis Document, Technical Analysis, and Test Plan. Training users post-delivery and maintaining an ongoing relationship with end users to enhance data products.
**Your Technical Skills**:

- Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data functional analysis. Proven experience in conceptual and logical data modeling within a data warehouse context, preferably using the Kimball approach. Experience in designing and analyzing data flows, with prior data engineering experience as a plus.

**Your Project**:
You will join a project team responsible for building a Data Validation Engine that ensures data quality across several Belgian institutions. Your role as a Senior Data Functional Analyst includes:

- Acting as the technical and architectural owner of the Data Validation Engine. Collecting and aligning business requirements with stakeholders. Designing the Software Architecture for the Validation Engine. Translating architecture into technical specifications for the development team. Serving as the Application Owner for the Validation Engine post-project.
