Since 2017, we have grown to a team of 50 people, over 4 campuses in Belgium and helped over 2800 job seekers to start their career in the ICT sector as a Web Developer, AI Operator, DevOps, Cyber Security Analyst or SAP consultant.

To strengthen its Leadership team, BeCode is looking for a **part-time freelance Senior Finance Manager**

**Job Overview**

You are accountable for the full scope of Finances at BeCode, in close collaboration with the Finance & BI Manager. Your main focus is to provide financial strategic guidance, perform controls, and ensure compliance. Together with the other members of the Leadership Team, you are accountable for the overall strategy and success of BeCode.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Your team consists of the Finance & BI team composed of our Finance & BI Manager and an Accounting support.

As Sr Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include the management of the Finance team and:

- **Accounting**: You control and validate actuals and forecasts, financial transactions linked to our intercompany system and its fiscal ruling. You’ll also ensure the follow up of our Auditing Partner’s recommendations.
- **Budget and Reporting**: You coach and support our Finance Manager by providing strategic guidance on budget construction, financial analysis, forecasts and board presentations. You annually update the business plan for investors.
- **Funding**: You support, control and validate the budget proposals linked to projects and the financial reporting of subsidy. You lead the commercial pricing strategy together with the CEO.
- **Cash management**: You control cash flow projections, ensure payment capacity for ongoing loans and anticipate cash flow needs.
- **Risks & Compliance**: You develop an internal risk management system and perform the relevant controls. You ensure the compliance of BeCode with Belgium’s financial and tax obligations.
- **Quality Improvement**: You provide expertise for continuous improvement and support the implementation of new processes in Financial tools and procedures.
- Together with the CEO & the Board you define the performance indicators for the Finance function. You also provide guidance to the leadership team for BeCode’s overall performance indicators.

**Are you the Leader we’re looking for?**

You need to:

- Have a proven track in a Financial strategic roles (min 5 years)
- Ideally, be experienced in subsidy management as well as in intercompany systems
- Be a team player ready to trust your colleagues and coach your team members
- Be passionate about using the finance function to enable social impact
- Be fluent in English and French or Dutch, with a good command of the other national language

**Offer**:
We are looking for a **freelance part time**, we offer a **2 days / week contract**. We are in hybrid mode, between our HeadQuarters in Brussels and at home.
