Purpose of position, responsibilities and main tasks
You will be responsible for the implementation and development of the Nutkao Sales strategy for Foodservice Benelux Boerinneke channel & Private Label.
Activities / main tasks
- Point of Contact: You are the main point of contact for Retail & Foodservice customers;
- P&L Management: You manage the P&L of these customers and control budgets to achieve your objectives and ensure cost-effective operations;
- Customer Relationships: You have the passion to further develop all assigned customer contacts and successfully respond to their needs;
- Presentations: You can enthusiastically and convincingly present the strategic plans and creative concepts of the Boerinneke Sales strategy in Dutch, French, and English;
- Sales Activities: You coordinate, monitor, and review the brand’s sales and promotional activities;
- Market Analysis: You stay informed about market developments and map out market trends, actions, and the market position of your competitors;
- Administrative Tasks: You are the driving force behind sales-supporting administrative tasks (sales reports, promotional reports, etc.);
- Reporting: You report to the Vice President Retail.
Specific requirements for the position
- Qualifications and prerequisite
- Education: A Bachelor’s or Master degree;
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar commercial position, preferably within Retail;
- Knowledge: Basic knowledge of the Benelux Retail landscape and the ability to process Nielsen and GFK analyses and data;
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English.

- Sales Skills: Selling is in your DNA: you excel at listening, talking, presenting, and negotiating;
- Affinity: Affinity with the food industry (FMCG);
- Mentality: A win-win mentality and the ability to build long-term relationships;
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and a proactive, flexible, customer-oriented, and team-player attitude.
