**The challenge**:
As a Category and Insights Manager, you will manage external data & insights partners. Also, you will be developing and owning the Category Insights agenda, building reporting tools in close collaboration with the internal data and algorithms teams and developing capabilities for our local teams to help them implement projects for our customers. This will drive category growth for our customers and for ABI brands within our customers.
From day one, you will be encouraged to connect & engage with Category, Sales and Commercial teams, and customers all over Europe to better understand our Category thought Guidance into actionable solutions that drive Category & ABI growth. You will also work closely with external partners and internal teams to make this happen.
**The role**:
Data to Insights & Thought Guidance
- Creation of actionable insights based on complex data and set into engaging for internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable with continuous data from external sources.
- Deliver improvements in Category reporting delivery by the internal data team.
- Develop engaging training for broader commercial teams to democratize data and tools.
- Manage Data contracts and SLA with key partners.
Support for Sales, Commercial & Local Category Teams
- Create and maintain key reporting (tools) on trends from Category, Market Share and Commercial data to identify gaps and opportunities, mainly Nielsen related.
- Deliver the category insights required to drive the Beer & Beyond Beer Category forward for the benefit of the shopper, the retailer & ABI (as part of the Category Vision).
- Maintain clear & aligned communications with Local Catman, Key Account Mmt and Sales Directors Off-Trade.
**Who we’re looking for**:
- Min. 2 years of experience as Category and/or Sales Manager (Market knowledge is an asset)
- Data & Analytics experience. Passionate about turning data into insight and opportunities for the Category within the channel/customer.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel is an asset.
- Nielsen / IRI experience is an asset.
- Fluent in English. Any other European language is a plus.
- Problem-Solving & Results-Orientation with a track record of making a difference
- Relationship builder, ability to work cross-functionally - internally and with customers.
- The breadth of understanding to appreciate the overall business/commercial context and the role of Category Management within it.
