EHS Manager Belgium

As an EHS Manager and Field Safety Manager, you will lead all EHS related activities for the site in Deurne. You will also cover EHS Field Safety Management for the Benelux region. Your main goal is to ensure that an ongoing assessment of the implementation of the EHS management system is in place and complies with local legislation and PPG EHS requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that **EHS legal and PPG requirements** for the locations are always communicated and work with the local Leadership Teams to address the implementation of these requirements in the most effective way
- Drive **EHS **for field employees and employees based in stores and other remote locations
- Ensure regular communication and **engagement with external parties and business leaders, **by creating solid relationships among the various stakeholders and participation in leadership teams.
- Identify and prioritizes needs, proposes and gets approval for **EHS local budget**, and manages it accordingly
- Ensure that **risk assessments **are performed by the business on time and in full and to support as appropriate in risk reductions initiatives
- Identify appropriate **EHS training **needs and ensure effective roll out in partnership with the business

**Qualifications**:

- Level 1 prevention advisor, preferably also environmental coordinator, level B.
- Relevant working experience, demonstrable knowledge on follow up and implementation of legal requirements, e.g. machine safety, process safety,.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, by showing enthusiasm and engagement.
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, French is preferred.
