**Senior Expert High Voltage Equipment (AIS/GIS)**:

**Function**:
As a Material Expert in medium
- and high-voltage substations (AIS, GIS and medium voltage boards), you will develop expertise on the installation of new assets in projects carried out by Elia Engineering on behalf of Elia.

The main duties in this post involve:

- Gathering the necessary knowledge about the equipment and systems within your remit. You will keep up to date with the latest market trends and exchange experiences with both internal and external contacts in order to acquire and maintain the necessary strategic know-how.
- Acting as technical lead for concluding equipment framework agreements and writing the necessary specifications. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the technical evaluation of equipment and the relevant acceptance procedures.
- Optimising the integration of equipment and, in this context, drawing up the necessary guidelines and basic documents to be applied in Elia's investment projects.
- You will advise project engineers and assist them with the implementation of innovative projects.
- Designing and delivering training.
- Taking part in internal, national and international working groups.

**Your Profile**:

- You are a qualified civil or industrial engineer specialising in electricity or electromechanics.
- Experience with medium
- or high-voltage equipment is desirable.
- You are trilingual in Dutch, French and English.
- You are willing to carry out short missions abroad.
- You have a strong affinity for electrical engineering and are willing to continue developing and passing on your technical expertise.
- You are a communicative, persuasive team player.
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office is a bonus.
