Treasury Middle Officer - Brussels - 12-Month Contract
Do you want to work with a world leader in material technology? This opportunity is currently available to a Treasury Middle Officer to support our clients growing portfolio of projects globally across material science, chemistry and metallurgy.
**Responsibilities**:
**Bank and bank account management**: You collaborate closely with our banking partners to ensure the proper functioning of bank relationships focused on cash management and bank account management topics
**Compliance**: You are able to support external regulatory compliance, KYC requirements, Power of Attorneys
**Operation support**: You can act as a support back office operations during peak times or as back-up for other teammates
**Reporting**: You are not afraid of numbers and are able to generate and maintain various Treasury Management reports
**General Administration**: You collaborate with internal (other teams) and external stakeholders (e.g. auditors, national bank, regulators...) on all middle office topics
**Project Support**: You will assist with transformation projects and initiatives within the Group Treasury
**Requirements**:
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Additional degrees or relevant certifications are a strong asset.
A previous relevant experience in a middle office role within the Treasury or financial sector
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Impeccable attention to detail and ability to collaborate with multiple (international) stakeholders
Effective communication and a team player mentality
Proactive and adaptable mindset
**Strong communication skills**: Proficient in English. Knowledge of French, Dutch or any European language is an asset.
