**_Your function_**

EGI wishes to reinforce its team working on power system operations and security in the context of deep integration of renewable energy sources, Energy and Balancing Market Integration. To achieve this, EGI is looking for experienced professionals with expertise in the field of transmission system operation. These experts will take part to local and international projects focusing on RES integration, security of supply, sustainability and economic efficiency of Power System. Activities will include, but will not be limited to:

- Analysis and definition of operational principles to be applied to system operation, stability and market integration
- Typical activities involve: Model definition and validation, Steady state (load flow, short circuit calculations etc), Dynamic stability analysis (frequency, voltage stability..), Grid Code requirement and connection compliance studies
- Support International Clients in addressing operational challenges and leveraging state of the art technical solutions.

- Address complexes challenges by realization of studies where a good level of technical power expertise is required and supports decision making in the business domains
- Development and implementation of tools and procedures to support the analysis and evaluation of grid reliability and security (eg capacity calculation, balancing, operational planning..)
- Support the company’s business development teams in identifying and pursuing opportunities by establishing trusted relationships with our clients and development of proposals.

**_Your profile_**
- Master degree in Engineering or Applied Mathematics/Physics.
- You have 10 years of experience in Power System related studies and/or working experience in system operator or consultancy firm is an asset.
- Good knowledge of the functioning of the power system with an understanding of the interactions between its different actor specifically on balancing and RES system integration, system operation and state of the art of technological solutions
- Expertise in translating complex data into key strategic insights and valuable actions
- Knowledge of power system simulation tools as PowerFactory, PSSE is an asset
- Experience within electric utility is a strong asset
- Fluency in English is mandatory, a good knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset
- Mobility and flexibility, willing to travel abroad for international assignments depending on the business development or projects needs
