We want you to develop your skills, expand your knowledge and be proud of your work. : Junior Tactical Planning Analyst - Import & NPI Job purpose As Tactical Planning Analyst for the you are part of the Logistics & Supply Chain Planning department which also consists of Distribution Planning, Operational Planning, Inventory Optimization, Raw Material Planning & Center of Excellence. The Tactical Planning team is responsible for monitoring the balance between demand and supply in our 14 Passenger Tire manufacturing plants (5 European and 9 import plants) on a tactical horizon (2 to 18 months). The junior Tactical Planning Analyst is responsible for managing the end-to-end Import Planning and New Product Introduction processes. As Import Planner you calculate the monthly Import order to purchase from other sources as well as the longer term forecast and you manage both the operational & strategic relationship with the Suppliers from other Bridgestone entities. As New Product Introduction specialist you ensure a smooth introduction of new products launched in our Replacement market to ensure a successful launch of new products as well as managing the phase-out of end-of-lifecycle products in the optimal way while being the gatekeeper of the complexity of our Supply portfolio. As Tactical Planning Analyst you interact with the other LSCM teams (production planning, distribution planning, strategic planning) as well as with cross-functional departments such as Sales, Manufacturing and Product Planning departments, both within the Headquarters as within the regions. Main responsibilities - Import Planning - Calculate the monthly Import Order from other sources by using the inputs like Demand (orderbook and forecast), current inventory level, incoming shipments and inventory targets - Prioritize the Import order in order to ensure maximization of the service levels and profitability - Generate a longer term Supply signal for our sources - Ensure the macro-level direction of our Demand & Supply balance is implemented in our Import Planning process - Generate yearly the OBMTP plan for the next 3 years for import - Place the Purchase Orders with our Suppliers - Manage the relationship with our Suppliers - Operationally manage & follow up on the Purchase Order execution with other sources - New product introduction - Lead and manage the monthly cross-functional NPI process in Bridgestone for Replacement in order to ensure a smooth introduction of New Products - Follow up on the discontinuation of products ensuring mínimal leftover stocks - Align Industrialization, Product Management, Sales & Production teams across Bridgestone - Ensure a clear information flow to the Regions in order to ensure they are aware about the introductions & phase-out to implement them in their Regional process - Play a pro-active part in managing our line-up, translating LSCM/Manufacturing concerns into feedback & discussions with PCM - Drive continuous improvement of the Import & NPI process - Collaborate with IT and Center of Excellence to improv
