Transport & Logistics Event Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Transport & Logistics Event Coordinator to manage all transportation and handling activities for events and exhibitions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and supervision of the movement of equipment, materials, and structures to and from event venues—locally, nationally, or internationally. This role ensures timely, efficient, and cost-effective transport (ocean, road, air) while maintaining safety and compliance standards.Responsibilities:Plan and coordinate the transportation of event materials, equipment, and structures to and from venues.Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal teams to manage logistics timelines.Supervise loading and unloading processes, ensuring proper handling.Manage transport documentation, including shipping manifests, customs clearance forms, and delivery schedules.Track shipments and proactively resolve any delays, route changes, or logistic issues.Coordinate on-site logistics related to transport, such as vehicle access, scheduling, and marshaling.Maintain detailed records of shipments and transport costs.Supervise and direct drivers, on-site handling crews.Skills:Strong understanding of logistics planning and transports by air / road / ocean.Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
