For our manufacturing site Heist-op-den-Berg (+900 people) we are looking for an:
**Analyst Laborant Quality Operations Analytical Lab**

**Purpose of the role**

The Analyst (Analytical lab) supports the organisation in meeting excellent quality performance by executing various tests on materials or products to report on the results.

Partial planning (organisation), execution and evaluation of the indicated tests under general supervision. (Partial planning of own job)

**Responsibilities**

Tests:

- Execute and evaluate analytical tests;
- Write the analyses reports and perform all related tasks.

Procedures:

- Perform all lab activities according to cGMP guidelines;
- Read and handle pharmacopoeia and standards;
- Write and update SOP’s

Lab equipment and material:

- Perform calibrations of balances and glassware and other small instruments;
- Daily review of the temperature and humidity registrations of equipment;
- Propose new or adapted equipment and instruments for the laboratory;
- Follow-up delivery of Certificates from the suppliers;
- Follow-up the stock of all lab material needed;
- Assure that expired materials are destroyed, and inventory list is updated.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Science;
- Preferably at least two years of experience in a similar lab position, _a graduate is also welcome to apply; _
- Knowledge of analytical techniques;
- Able to work independently and plan own work;
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
