WOOD.BE is the knowledge centre for the Belgian woodworking and furniture industry. We support the companies in this industry in their efforts to realise an innovative and sustainable future. In order to achieve this goal we develop activities in the field of technological research, innovation, certification, testing, standardisation, safety, etc.
InnovaWood is the European network for wood science, technology and education. With more than 70 member organisations (including WOOD.BE) in 29 European countries, it is a large community of professionals fostering research, innovation and education along the value chain from forestry to wood products, to furniture and construction.
In order to sustain the growth of both WOOD.BE and InnovaWood, we are currently looking for a joint administrative officer. It is a hybrid position that can be partly executed at the WOOD.BE premises and online.
**Job description**:
- you manage the administrative and financial activities of WOOD.BE and InnovaWood in collaboration with the respective teams;
- financial administration and reporting of the European (e.g. Horizon Europe, Erasmus+) and national projects that InnovaWood and WOOD.BE are engaged in as consortium partners;
- bookkeeping, invoicing, monitoring and reporting of activities, placing orders, registration of customer requests, etc;
- support the organisation of international events, meetings, workshops and webinars;
**Your profile**:
- proven experience in administration and management support;
- experience in European project administration (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+) is an asset;
- sufficient proficiency in English, French and Dutch: minimum B2;
- you are well organised and efficient in time management, prioritisation and planning. You are precise, punctual, independent and reliable;
- you have a customer oriented and solution-oriented attitude and a proactive working culture;
