We are actively looking for a Senior Accountant for one of our client, a fintech, located in Brussels.
This extremely innovative and fully digitalized structure has been growing very quickly over the past year and continues to grow as the days go by. The company is now present at an international level and offers its solutions to international SMEs all over the world.
Because of this rapid growth, the accounting team needs reinforcement You will be working among a warm and professional team and will report directly to the Accounting Manager. By joining this structure as a Senior Accountant, you will be in charge of many responsibilities while managing a small team of Junior Accountants. You will also get the chance to play an important role in the improvement and implementation of new processes such as the setting-up of consolidation processes.

**Function**:
- Management and supervision of Junior Accountants
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Preparation of the reporting
- Establishment of the month-end and year-end closing + VAT & tax declarations
- Preparation of financial statements and consolidate them
- Assist the team in the preparation of the internal and external audits
**Profile**:
- Superior education in Accounting
- At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant. A first experience in Consolidation and the management/supervision of a team are a big plus
- You are French or Dutch-speaking and you are fluent in English
- You find yourself very comfortable with managing and motivating a team on a daily. You value knowledge sharing and enjoy sharing your expertise with others
- Your organization skills and preciseness are your biggest assets
