- Designing Sustainable Finance Action Plans for different EU Member States (e.g. Poland, Italy) to redirect public and private capitals towards the low carbon transition.

- Evaluating the impact of green bonds on supporting climate mitigation investments for the European Investment Bank and European Bank for Reconstruction & Development.

**Responsibilities**:
You will work as part of a multi-national, multi-disciplinary and collaborative team of climate and environmental experts, economists, engineers, financial experts, and communication specialists to:

- Project manage the delivery of projects for public clients, taking the lead in overseeing the deployment of discrete tasks and activities, within quality, time and cost constraints.
- Provide robust and sound qualitative and quantitative analysis of project monitoring data and translating this into meaningful and impactful recommendations that will help to improve project delivery.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs on projects and help to shape future tasks and activities, working closely with ICF colleagues and our partners.
- Proactively participate in business development activities, including managing relationships with key clients and subcontractors, proposal writing and promoting the company by providing thought leadership on pertinent topics as part of marketing activities.

**Required qualifications & skills**:

- Fluency in spoken English
- Qualified degree in climate or environmental sciences, environmental economics, environmental engineering, political sciences, or a related discipline.
- Professional working experience of over 7 years, ideally working in the field of climate policy at EU level, with a good understanding of the latest policy developments impacting (e.g. Clean Industrial Deal, Net Zero Industry Act; EU ETS; etc.).
- Demonstrable experience of public policy project delivery and management.
- Demonstrable experience of understanding client needs and articulating solutions that effectively integrate the expertise of several delivery organisations.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis capability, including advanced knowledge of Excel and equivalent tools.
- Proven communication skills and track record in the field of stakeholder engagement, especially within public authorities and the business and finance community.
- Ability to work independently as well as within multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary consulting teams spread across several countries and time zones.
