**Job Description**:
ARHS Digital is looking for a Chief Data Architect for one of its clients in Brussels, a key player in the Belgian social security sector.

As Chief Data Architect, you will play a key role in the design and development of the client's data platform. You will also actively be involved in a strategy implementation aimed at evolving towards a more data-driven organization.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Oversee the design of the data architecture and the technical architecture of the analytical data platform, including data acquisition and integration, data modelling, transformation and quality processes, master data management, data warehousing and data marts.
- Create a robust and sustainable architecture that considers current and future business needs, in view of budget constraints, data availability and the necessary resources.
- Evaluate and select the tools and components necessary for optimal data management (data acquisition, data storage, data quality, data governance, data visualization and advanced analytics).
- Oversee the development of conceptual, logical and physical data models.
- Ensure that the technical architecture (of the data warehouse, including the physical components and their functionalities) is properly documented.
- Supervise the work of data architects who actively participate in data projects.
- Assess the current technical architecture and estimate the system's ability to meet short and long-term processing needs.
- In addition, you are responsible for defining Identity Access Management (IAM) for the analytics platform and ensuring that security processes are in place.

**Qualifications**:
**Profile**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or civil engineering
- Good communication skills and attentive listening, allowing you to facilitate collaboration and gain the support of the various parties involved
- Result-oriented, constructive and pragmatic problem solver
- Autonomous, but able to work collaboratively within a transversal organization
- ** Fluency in either French or Dutch is required**

**Technical skills**
- Seven years of experience in data architecture and/or data management
- Experience in building data warehouses and analytics platforms
- Proven ability to develop data models
- Expertise in database administration and performance optimization
- Knowledge in several of the following technologies: SQL, ETL, OLAP, MS SSIS, MS SSAS, SAS Viya, Enterprise Architect or similar.
- Knowledge in metadata management and master data management (MDM) would be considered an asset
