Join us in the heart of Antwerp's culinary scene. **Role**: As a **Waiter** at BÚN Bar & Restaurant, you will be an essential part of our dynamic team, contributing to the overall guest experience. Your responsibilities will include: - **Guest Service**: Provide attentive and personalized service to guests in the dining areas, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience. - **Order Taking and Delivery**: Efficiently take orders, relay them to the kitchen, and serve dishes with precision and care. - **Table Maintenance**: Keep tables clean and organized, resetting them for the next guests, and ensuring a tidy dining environment. - **Cleanliness and Organization**: Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the dining and service areas, adhering to health and safety standards. - **Product Knowledge**: Familiarize yourself with the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries and make recommendations. - **Collaboration**: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service. - **Upselling**: Identify opportunities to upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the guest experience. - **Payment Handling**: Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, providing a seamless conclusion to their dining experience. **Profile**: **Must-Haves**: - Previous experience in a customer service role. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Exceptional command of either English or Dutch. **Nice-to-Have**: - Wine, beer and/or cocktail knowledge, - Interest in Asian hospitality and culture. **Uurrooster**: - Tuesday through Saturday, Thursday lunch closed. **Startdatum**: - Subject to discussion. **Offer**: - Competitive compensation. - Welcoming and collaborative work environment. **Solliciteren**: Join BÚN today and be part of our commitment to culinary excellence and exceptional guest service.
