Christian Wijnants is a luxury womenswear brand based in Antwerp, renowned for its strong knitwear collections, hand-drawn prints, and jacquards.
We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to coordinate and optimize the day-to-day operations across transportation, logistics, inventory, and warehouse processes. As Operations Manager, you will work closely with both the production and sales teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. This is an on-site position based at our Antwerp head office.
**Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:
Oversee the execution, direction, and coordination of all logistics and transportation activities.
Manage the full import and freight forwarding process for all shipments.
Act as the main point of contact for our external warehouse, ensuring smooth collaboration and communication.
Coordinate product deliveries to the warehouse in collaboration with the production team, couriers, and freight forwarders, prioritizing cost efficiency and timeliness.
Supervise product quality control at the warehouse, in close liaison with the production team.
Generate and analyze warehouse shipping reports.
Prepare packing lists, invoices, credit notes, return authorizations, and maintain an up-to-date payment overview.
Maintain clear communication with wholesale clients to ensure timely deliveries.
Ensure successful payments from clients before releasing shipments.
Manage swaps and re-order requests from wholesale partners.
Develop stock reports and inventory analyses as needed, including annual inventory.
Organize and oversee bi-annual stock sales.
Collaborate closely with our flagship store to support e-commerce shipments, resolve inventory issues, and process purchase orders.
Coordinate transportation and assist with the setup and running of the Paris showroom.
Adopting a sustainable approach within the full scope of our operations.
**Desired Skills and Experience**:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in operations, ideally within the luxury sector.
Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience with ERP systems is a must, experience with Zedonk is a plus
Self-motivated with a proactive mindset; able to take initiative in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Ability to work within tight deadlines
A valid driver’s license is mandatory
Strong affinity with the product and brand is essential
This is a full-time, on-side position based in Antwerp
