Junior Accountant Entertainment Brussels

We are actively looking for a Junior Accountant for one of our clients, an entertainment company based in Brussels.
With origins in the 1970s, the company has grown to operate across six continents serving millions of users each year. While it is part of a global group with over 10 000 employees worldwide, the Belgian office maintains the agility and close-knit environment of an SME with a team of around 30 people.
As Junior Accountant, you will join a human-scale finance team. You will report directly to the Finance Manager, a supportive and approachable leader who holds regular team meetings, prioritizes problem-solving and encourages open communication.
**Function**:
- Processing of purchase/sales invoices and bank entries
- Managing AR/AP balances and preparing payments
- Issuing invoices
- Assisting with monthly closings, VAT returns and audits
- Supporting reconciliations and contributing to group reporting
**Profile**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 1 year of experience in Accounting
- You speak Dutch and have a good command of French. You are able to understand meetings, mails or documents in English
- You are a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual, you are proactive and organized
