As Product Manager Renewables you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of energy generation, management and storage. In this role you will have a great impact on the strategy, roadmap and financial success and sustainability of Smappee's solutions of tomorrow. In this role, you will be conducting international market research, identifying product gaps and creating innovative solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring that our renewables solutions are profitable, user-friendly, well designed, high-quality, and meet customer needs by forming the link between R&D, Sales, Finance and Marketing as well as international market developments.

**Responsibilities**:
Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for Smappee's new solutions like Battery Energy Storage (BESS) that fits with the overall Smappee product strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives
Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to provide innovative and differentiated product offerings that set Smappee apart from international competitors
Define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and roadmap based on market demand and customer feedback
Analyze profitability, assess risks, and make informed decisions to achieve financial goals, develop and execute financial strategies, including revenue generation and cost management
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers to gather insights and feedback for continuous product improvement
Foster alignment within the organization regarding product definition and development, emphasizing effective communication among project management, engineering, operations, sales, and marketing teams
Guarantee that product pricing and costs align with market demands while meeting the company's margin targets
**Requirements**:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, business, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management with hardware and software components
A strong track record of successfully launching and managing products or solutions
Experience in managing Profit & Loss (P&L) for a product or product portfolio.
Experience in developing a comprehensive product strategy and product roadmap for a product or product portfolio
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams while leading product development and market intelligence
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to different audiences in English or Dutch
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to drive data-driven decisions
Knowledge of energy storage solutions and energy management is a plus.
