Within the **EQUANS** Belux organization, the Finance department of the Business Unit Smart Buildings in Brussels is looking for a **Head of Business Control**.
- be fully accountable of the controlling process (budget, medium term plan, actuals follow-up) for the entities within the scope in close collaboration with the operational managers and aligned with EQUANS Corporate request
- insure the quality and accuracy of the information received and reported within different IS systems (SAP-ERP, BI, Smart,)
- collaborate with the Financial Control team on the monthly/quarterly reporting for the BU Management, EQUANS Corporate as well as for the Board of Directors and Workers Council of the companies within the scope
- organize the review of the performance for the installation projects and maintenance contracts
- make proposals to improve the BU's financial performance: costs reduction, process optimization, contracts pricing,
- organize a strong control on the support functions costs: budget construction by department, reporting to department managers, performance follow-up, costs allocation to activity/contracts/department
- perform specific financial studies at the request of the management
- manage a team of 6 business controllers acting as key financial partner of the operation
- coordinate & improve the financial process in close collaboration with Financial Control, Sales Administration, Accounting
- prepare financial information for the external auditors
- report to the Head of Finance of the BU Smart Buildings
- interfaces
- internal: ExCom Smart Buildings, Financial Control, Sales Administration, Accounting, Information Management, EQUANS Finance Corporate
- external: external auditors

**Do you possess the following qualifications & skills?**
- master in finance or economy with at least 10 years of experience in a financial function (Business Control, Financial Control, Consolidation, )
- experience in team leading and process improvement or capacity to do it
- very good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge of Power BI and SAP are a plus
- autonomous & flexible, you are able to manage deadlines and make priorities
- ability to interact and challenge at management levels in the organization
- fluent in English, Dutch and French
